We look for evidence of academics and work experience relevant to our environment.

Your first interview will assess whether there is a fit between you, as an individual, and Mint, in terms of values, culture, expectations, goals and the work we do.

In these interviews people, your specific competencies and areas of expertise will be assessed in order to understand your suitability to Mint.

Psychometrics provide important predictive input into our selection process by giving insight into the personality and cognitive aspects of an individual.

By this stage, we will be looking at you for a particular role in our business. The MD will assess recommendations and limitations to your employment, and you will be contacted with the outcome.

MINT provides opportunities for graduates to enrol in a graduate internship programme. We offered a paid internship to help graduates to secure the much needed experience they require to launch their careers in the workplace.
The objective of the Graduate Internship Programme is threefold:

• To provide a framework by which students and graduates from diverse academic backgrounds can enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments.
  
• To expose them to the work of Mint and our main products so we can train the next generations of software professionals in South Africa.
  
• To provide Mint offices with the assistance of highly qualified students specialized in various professional fields.

The Graduate Internship Programme is offered by Mint one a year, commencing in January each year and it is a 12 month program.
The programme is full-time and interns are expected to work five days a week (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) Interns will be rotated across our technical departments, carrying out their tasks under the supervision of a Mentor who will provide with the technical support interns need to achieve professional goals. As an intern you can expect support and encouragement at every level!

Interns will be an integral part of teams, get hands-on experience, and contribute to the success of critical assignments. And equally important, interns will gain exposure to our corporate environment, products, and services through interaction with senior management and a formal orientation program.

Our workplace program includes the following:

1. In-house training;
2. Business rotation,
3. Certification in the chosen platforms the intern will use. We primarily specialize in the following platforms/frameworks:
1. Microsoft SharePoint;
2. Microsoft Dynamics CRM;
3. .NET Development (C#)

Upon completion of the programme, applicants will obtain a Certificate of Recognition. Successful interns may have the opportunity of permanent employment within the company based upon their performance during the course of the Internship.

To qualify for Mint Graduate Internship Programme, the following conditions must be met:

• Applicants must have a completed degree.
• Degrees must be in one of the following disciplines:
B.Com Informatics or similar;
B.Sc. Computer Science or similar;
Engineering – Electronic/Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing
Mathematical Sciences.
• Applicants must have sound academic records.
• Applicants must not have participated in previous learnership, graduate or internship programmes.
• Applicants must not have previously had permanent employment within a software development environment.
• CV, Matric certificate results and tertiary transcripts must be submitted.

A telephonic interview will be held first. Applicants will be asked a few questions and they will be shortlisted further.

Successful applicants will be invited to attend a panel interview for an hour with our company Directors. We will communicate the results to your shortly.
